I fell in love with the i❤️🍟 brand. It just fit me so well. It’s an emotional connection. If you ever dew or painted something that you really liked, or if you ever built a kit car, a tree house, anything cool, then you would know what I’m talking about.
Was it the best brand in the world, No (yes, dammit,) but it was my brand.
In my last blog post in July I wrote about the rebrand experience. It’s hard for someone like me to hire a creative person when I feel like I am that creative person. Maybe I’m stubborn. Ok, I’m stubborn.
This past Monday I officially submitted a new brand into the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and although it will take up to a year to hear back from them, the process of transition has officially started.
The days of i❤️🍟 are going to end. Another company owns a similar, and inferior, mark and I can’t use my emoji logo the way I want. It took me so long to rebrand because I cannot settle for a name that only just works. I need to feel it. I need to love it. I need to have all these emotions when I talk about the brand because I want to have authenticity and integrity. I believe I now feel as strong or even stronger about this new brand.
I cannot wait to unveil this new identity of ours, but I will wait. It’s a new me, and the new me says “bro, chill.”
Coming along with a new brand is also a new location. We are looking to relocate to a spot that can serve our needs. We’re aiming for a summer of 2025 transition, but who knows.
We’ll roll out the end of the i❤️🍟 Era with some class. We’ll get some stickers and t-shirts for sale so we can all honor a cool logo, a cool brand, and great food! I like skulls and guns and action flicks, but a brand about loving something was also just a breath of fresh air and we had a lot of fun with it.
We’ll continue on with the positive vibes and community feel to our next chapter. We hope that you enjoyed i❤️🍟 on any level, in any aspect, in any way.
